Mam 17 lat. Szczęśliwie jestem jeszcze dzieckiem, lecz w tyle głowy rośnie świadomość, że świat do którego wkraczam nie jest łatwy. Każdego dnia słychać wiadomości o pogłębiających się zmianach klimatu, o niestabilnej sytuacji politycznej na świecie, o problemach ekologicznych, gospodarczych i społecznych w kraju i poza nim. W obliczu pędzącej technologii i ze wszystkich stron krzyczącej zmiany, My, młodzi ludzie, możemy czuć, że odbiera nam się kontrolę nad czymkolwiek, a nasz wpływ na rzeczywistość się kurczy.

I to fakt - świat obecnie stawia przed nami wiele wyzwań.

Jednakże jest nas, młodych duszyczek, naprawdę dużo. Obecnie na świecie żyje około 1,8 miliarda młodzieży w wieku od 10 do 24 lat. W samej 38-milionowej Polsce osób do 24 roku życia jest aż 27%. I choć teraz nasz głos może nie być brany na poważnie, musimy wiedzieć, że każdy z nas jest częścią wielkiej globalnej układanki i każdy z nas, bez wyjątku, może mieć na nią konkretny wpływ. Poprzez nasze codzienne decyzje, zostawiamy po sobie ślad na ziemi.

Czemu nie zadbać o to, by był on jak najlepszy?

Poszerzajmy wspólnie naszą wiedzę, zwracajmy uwagę na to, co dzieje się w naszych społecznościach, w naszym miasteczku, w naszej szkole. Bądźmy bardziej świadomi, co słychać na świecie i jak obecnie kształtuje się jutro. Bądźmy razem dla siebie wsparciem w dążeniu do tego, aby przyszłość była dla nas pewniejsza. Działajmy. Jako młodzi ludzie, którzy mają w sobie mnóstwo energii i radości, sprawmy razem, że za parę lat będziemy mogli się wszyscy obudzić w świecie, w którym nie będzie tyle plastiku w oceanach, ludzie nie będą musieli uciekać z powodu zmian klimatu a dzieciaki na lekcjach będą mogli dowiedzieć się, jak szanować prawa człowieka.

Nie czekajmy na to, aż politycy przyjdą i zajmą się problemami, które zagrażają NASZEJ przyszłości. Sama lub sam bądź rozwiązaniem i pomocą. Bądź strażnikiem przyszłości.

I am 17. Luckily I am still a child, but in the back of my head the awareness, that the world I am about to enter is not the easiest, is growing. Every day you can news about the spreading climate change, about the unstable political situation around the globe, about ecological, economic and social issues, in the country and outside of it. In the face of the rushing technology and shouting-from-each-side change, We, the young people, may feel, that the control over anything is taken away from us, while our impact on the reality is shrinking. 
And that is a fact - the world currently is setting many challenges ahead of us. 
However, there are many of us, incredibly many young souls. Nowadays, there are approximately 1,8 billion youth representants between 10 and 24 years of age living on this planet. In Poland itself, people up to 24 years of age constitute 27% of the 38-million population. And even though right now our voice may not be treated seriously, we need to know that each of us is part of a huge, global puzzle and each of us, without exception, can have a significant impact on it. Through our daily decisions, we leave a mark on the Earth behind us. 

Why not to make it the best mark possible?
Let's share our knowledge together, let's notice the things happening in our communities, towns, schools. Let's be more aware of what is going on in the world and how the tomorrow is shaping. Be each other's support in trying to make the future more certain for us. Act! As young people, with so much stamina and joy inside, let's collectively enable ourselves to wake up in a world, where there is not so much plastic in the oceans, people do not have to flee from their homes because of climate change and kids can learn in their classes how to protect human rights.
Do not wait for politicians to come and tackle the problems that pose danger to OUR future. Be the solution yourself. Be the Guardian of the Future.
